Where is the milk from?
What types of milk are sold?
Why use glass bottles?
Crib Farm is in the hills above the Ryburn and Calder Valley, where the cows graze freely on grass rather than the zero-gazing systems used by many of the supermarkets. The Cows are milked Morning and Evening  by Frank Hitchen ,the younger of Normans two Sons. Frank knows each of the Cows which enables him to keep them in tip-top condition.
We sell whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk, all of which are bottled daily after the cows have been milked in the morning, so it could not be any fresher!
Our Whole milk in Glass bottles is non-homogenised making it much easier to digest [and taste better].
Unfortunatly the plastic cartons used by shops and supermarkets are still going into landfill at the rate of 1.3 billion per yearWe choose to use glass bottles, as they are returnable and therefore kind to the environment.  Many of our customers say that the milk tastes better and lasts longer as well!
